Civil Engineering Infrastructure Project

 

Townsville - North Shore Boulevard ECI

 

Client - Townsville City Council

 

Project Value - $40 Million

The North Shore Boulevard Project won Category 4 of the State CCF Earth Awards in Brisbane on 26 August 2011.  We are proud to be part of this project with Seymour Whyte Construction and the client, Townsville City Council.

Project Achievements -

Project achievements included the following:

    Urban highway design within a heavily

      constrained road corridor.

 

    Provision of bridge structures across

      Saunders and Stony Creeks.

    Complex environmental constraints and permitting issues.

    Complex constraints associated with accommodating future

      land development and planning issues.

 

    First ECI RAMP style project delivered for

       Townsville City Council.

 

    Complex flood modeling and level of service considerations.

 

       Delivered under tight budget constraints.

 

Preliminary design, detailed design and construction through an ECI delivery mechanism of the North Shore Boulevard.  A 7km link between the Bruce Highway at The Bohle and Mt Low Parkway at Bushland Beach.
