Flanagan Consulting Group celebrates 20 years of Business on

1 October 2011

Pat and Karen Flanagan started Pat Flanagan & Associates on 1 October 1991.

We started as a Civil Engineering Consultancy, located on Aplin Street.  Since then we moved to Mulgrave Road and then to our current location on Spence Street.  When we started out, we had just 3 staff, all of whom are still working in the business.

On 1 April 1997 we changed our name to Flanagan Consulting Group.

We started a Structural Engineering Business Unit in August 1998, Town Planning in September 2003 and Environmental Services in October 2006.

On 27 February 2004 we moved to our current location on Spence Street which was followed by several years of continuous growth for our business.

Townsville Office opened in June 2003.  In August 2006, due to unprecedented growth in the Townsville region, we moved to our Flinders Street office.

Now approaching our 20^th anniversary, we have three offices (Darwin Office opened in January 2011). 

We are looking forward to an even brighter future and as always we focus on providing excellent service to our clients as well as a stimulating and enjoyable working environment for our employees.
