This award winning training facility at the Cairns campus of James Cook University ( JCU ), includes a world-class clinical simulation laboratory plus prosthodontics, anatomy and microbiology facilities.
The building was completed ahead of time and under budget. Many engineering innovations and challenges were involved, including a stunning 9m high feature glazing frame with stairs cantilevering off the inside and an innovative steel roof truss system integrated with a perimeter column and eve framing system.
